Hey hun I’d really like your help,I see we’re about the same skintone. And I need to buy a foundation from Mac online I’m nw40 and chatted with a mac girl online and said a shade darker is what I ened to go since i was depending on MSF in MED/DARK to bring color back to my face she suggested nw43 or 45 but when i went to buy they seem not right was wondering if you could help somehow.

With MAC foundations I am a NW43. If you are using an MSF to bring color back to your face then I would go with NW43. Keep in mind the foundation color can ‘oxidize’ on your face and while it may look too light in the bottle will even out with your skin to match better.
Also be sure to get a good blending brush (I like Sonia Kashuk’s flat-top brush from Target, or Urban Decay’s Optical Blurring foundation brush.
